overview
A better representation of the circle of life probably cannot be found anywhere else in the world. The journey starts in Southern Serengeti when wildebeest calves are being born. Predators like lions and hyenas are constantly hunting for babies, and thousands and thousands of calves are born within a couple weeks of each other – a feast for the eyes of true wildlife enthusiasts. When the drought comes in May, the herd moves north, towards the Masai Mara in Kenya, chomping down the high green grass, quickly followed by the gazelles and zebras. The migration is not without risk: crossing rivers means facing about 3,000 crocodiles, patiently waiting for a kill. Not to mention the famous Serengeti lion population: by far the largest in Africa. Despite the abundance of hoofed meat in this area, life is not easy for these big cats in this unforgiving landscape. But seeing a group of lions collaborating to hunt down a wildebeest is an unforgettable sight. Around December the Wildebeest start returning into the Serengeti past the Loliondo game reserve and onto the southern plains of the Serengeti in Ndutu area where they start calving and the circle complete and start again.

To Fill Your Life With Adventure
My wife and I and good friends (party of 4) joined Allan and his team in an unforgettable adventure in Kenya, Tanzania and in Rwanda, to see the great city of Kigali and to visit the mountain gorillas and golden monkeys in Volcanoes National Park. Of course, we would only go with our good friend Allan.
I recently booked a trip to Tanzania with Mappe Tanzania, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. From the initial consultation to the post-trip follow-up, everything was handled with the utmost professionalism and care. Our itinerary was perfectly tailored to our interests, and we had an amazing time exploring the country. I would highly recommend Mappe Tanzania to anyone looking for a stress-free and unforgettable travel experience.
Highly recommend Maapi Tanzania and Allan Mollel! This was our first trip to Africa and it met our expectations and more. Allan is respectful of the animals, knowledgeable about the wildlife (animals, birds, and plants), local culture and provided a 5+ star experience.
MAAPE provides an incredible focus on the customer experience, with deep knowledge of the “big five” animals but also the birds, plant life, local tribes and their customs. We spent almost three weeks with Allan and could not have expected a better experience.
